The city of Goose Creek, located in Berkeley County was officially established in 1961 but the history of the area goes back centuries. Business Week has called the area the "Best place to raise a family" and it's an active community and an area of industrial growth.

Most of the Naval Weapons Station is located within Goose Creek.
